Launched product

Reduce Image File Size

Compress and resize images right in your browser.

A free browser-based tool for compressing and resizing JPG, PNG, and WebP images. It supports dimensions, percentage scaling, quality controls, output-format selection, and target file-size compression.

  • Compress JPG, PNG, and WebP images
  • Resize by exact pixel dimensions or by percentage
  • Presets for common social-media and e-commerce sizes
  • Quality controls for fine-tuned output

Processing happens entirely in the browser using the Canvas API. Images are not uploaded to a server, so nothing you compress is stored or transmitted — the tool even works offline once loaded.

Launched product

Generate My QR

Create customizable QR codes for almost anything.

A free browser-based QR-code platform for creating QR codes for URLs, text, email, phone, SMS, Wi-Fi, vCards, WhatsApp, events, locations, social profiles, and other uses — with customization options and multiple download formats.

  • Eleven QR content types: URL, text, email, phone, SMS, Wi-Fi, vCard, WhatsApp, events, locations, and social profiles
  • Color, gradient, shape, and frame customization (six dot styles, three corner-eye styles)
  • Optional center logo with automatic error-correction guidance
  • Error-correction control (L, M, Q, H)

Codes are generated entirely in the browser, so the content you enter is never uploaded to a server. Codes are static: the content is baked into the pattern, with no account and no expiry.

Process

How we work

A repeatable sequence that turns an idea into a tool people actually use — and keeps it useful after launch.

  1. 01

    Discover the user problem

We start with the job the tool must do, who it is for, and where the current options fall short.

  2. 02

    Validate demand and search intent

A useful tool is one people actually look for. We check how the problem is described and searched before building.

  3. 03

    Design the experience

A focused interface with one clear path from arrival to result — prototyped and reviewed before code.

  4. 04

    Build and test

Clean, semantic code, tested across browsers and screen sizes, with accessibility checked throughout.

  5. 05

    Launch and measure

We deploy on fast, privacy-respecting infrastructure and watch how the tool is actually used.

  6. 06

    Improve from real usage

Browsers change and so do users. We iterate based on evidence, not guesses.

Principles

What we optimize for

Six commitments that shape every decision, from the first sketch to the final deployment.

Useful before complicated
Every feature earns its place. If it does not make the tool more useful, it does not ship.
Fast by default
Small pages, optimized assets, and minimal scripts. Speed is a feature users feel immediately.
Privacy-conscious architecture
Wherever it is technically appropriate, processing happens in the browser — data never touches a server.
Accessible across devices
Readable text, keyboard-friendly controls, and layouts that work from small phones to large screens.
Search-friendly foundations
Semantic markup, clean URLs, and structured data so search engines understand what a tool does.
Maintainable code
Simple, well-organized codebases that stay easy to extend years after launch.

About

A small studio, focused on useful software

Veneris Labs is a web development company that designs and develops focused browser-based products and client solutions. We believe the best tools are the ones that disappear into the task — fast, clear, and private by default.

That is why our own products process images and QR content locally in the browser, and why our client work starts with the user problem rather than a technology wishlist.

FAQ

Common questions

Short answers to the questions we hear most often. The full list is on the FAQ page.

What kinds of web tools does Veneris Labs build?

We build focused, browser-based tools and micro-tools: compressors and converters, generators, calculators, validators, and other small utilities that do one job well. We also build the informational websites and landing pages that support them.

Can you build a custom online tool for my business?

Yes. If a useful tool exists in your head but not yet on the web, we can design and build it. We start by discussing the problem it solves and who will use it, then propose a scope you can approve before any code is written.

Do you work on small MVPs?

Yes — a large share of our work is small. We regularly scope single-tool MVPs that can be designed, built, and launched in a matter of weeks. Small projects get the same senior attention as large ones.

Can you improve an existing web tool?

Yes. We audit existing tools for usability, speed, SEO, and maintainability, then redesign or rebuild the parts that are holding them back. We can work with your current codebase or start fresh where that makes more sense.

Have a tool in mind?

Tell us what should exist — a calculator your industry keeps rebuilding in spreadsheets, a generator your customers keep asking for, a utility that would save your team an hour a week. We will tell you honestly whether it is worth building and how we would approach it.
